Burials

The Parish Council maintains the Cemetery situated on Greengate Lane.

There are four different services that the Parish Council offers in the Cemetery, and they are:

Grave Spaces for coffin burials and Ash Interment (Ash Caskets may be interred, but only after a coffin burial has taken place)

The Woodland Walk for Ash interments (ash caskets are not permitted)

The Haven for Ash casket interments

The Yew Haven for Ash casket interments

The New Haven for Ash casket interments

The Glade - Scattering of Ashes - this is the only service that is available to non-residents of Birstall
