I was elected onto the Parish Council in May 2021. I moved to Birstall from Leicester in 2009, together with my wife, two children and mother.

The whole family likes Birstall a lot and the children enjoyed attending Highcliffe Primary School. In my working life I am a senior lecturer in Medical Genetics at the University of Leicester, researching ways to predict patients' response to radiotherapy.

I hope to contribute to making Birstall an even better place for the whole community.
