I joined Birstall Parish Council in April 2021.

I have lived in Birstall since 2002 and have brought my son up here. I love Birstall's open spaces and its local shops and amenities. I have previously worked as a medical research technician and now I teach biology in further education. I use the cycle network through Watermead Park to cycle to work in the city and I appreciate what a wonderful asset this is for our area.

My wish is to fairly represent the views and concerns of our residents and to help promote a happy, healthy and prosperous community here in Birstall.

I have been appointed by the Council to represent them at meetings relating to the Broadnook Trust Foundation.
