I have lived in Birstall since 1964. I am married and have raised a family in Birstall.

I worked for Severn Trent Water Ltd for 32 years.

I have been a Parish Councillor for Birstall since 1999 and was heavily involved in the inception of the annual summer Gala for the millennium year. I was and still am, keen to get involved in local initiatives, projects and ideas for the young people of Birstall.

I am Chair of the Parish Council's Estates & Recreation Committee and enjoy being part of an active and vibrant organisation who deliver good services for the benefit of all residents
