I have lived in Birstall for 19 years. I have been involved in local community matters previously.

I have good communication skills and I am a sociable and easy to get along with person.

I have an English degree which I feel will help with any written communication and it will help me to understand any training that may be required to assist me in my new role as a Parish Councillor.

I have always been interested in our community and the village for myself and my two sons.

I feel it is important that we carry on the good work that has already been undertaken by the Parish Council and I am willing to attend all meetings and be actively involved in the progression and development of Birstall for the community.
