Birstall's Remembrance Parade & Service - 10 November 2024

Birstall Parish Council are proud to be working in partnership with the Birstall Branch of the Royal British Legion to ensure that the annual Remembrance parade and service continues.

The parade and service will be held on Sunday, 10 November 2024.

There will be road closures for a short period of time to allow the parade to safely move through some streets in the village.

The closures will be in effect from approximately 09:15am until 11:30am (except for Church Hill which will remain closed until 12pm to allow for the wreath laying ceremony. The closures will affect the junctions of: Front Street/Wanlip Lane/Sibson Road/Church Hill/Birstall Road and School Lane.

The Parish Council apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to road users, but it is only for a very short time and it is hoped that the relevance of the event is taken into consideration.
