Birstall Parish Council are proud to be working in partnership with the Birstall Branch of the Royal British Legion to ensure that the annual Remembrance parade and service continues.

The parade and service will be held on Sunday, 10 November 2024.

There will be road closures for a short period of time to allow the parade to safely move through some streets in the village.

Greengate Lane two day road closure notice

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We have received notification from Leicestershire County Council that Greengate Lane will be closed for two days between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm on the 13th and 14th July 2024 for carriageway repair work.

Household Waste Sites Opening Hours

All recycling and Household Waste Sites (tips) in Leicestershire have moved to winter opening hours from 1 October 2023 until 31 March 2024 (9am - 4pm). Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to closing with the last admittance at 3:55pm.
