Youth Service Provision

Birstall Parish Council has identified an opportunity for members of the local community to become involved in enhancing the provision of Youth Services in Birstall.

To ensure a 'level playing field' in considering applications for business use of Council premises, the Council resolved to require applications to be made in a standardised format for easier comparison when deciding whom to grant permission.

Applications may be from existing voluntary organisations (with no staff costs, and existing measures in place for staff safeguarding training and DBS certification), from established businesses, or from new start-up businesses who must consider these and other legal requirements. The completed business plan should reflect the proposed business's applicable circumstances.
